The EcoAir X Series 920SD outdoor unit is the 9000 BTU condenser for EcoAir's R32 WiFi inverter split air conditioner range, pairing low-GWP R32 refrigerant with a SEER of up to 6.1 and an A+++/A++ energy rating. As the outdoor half of a split air conditioner, this condenser sits outside and handles heat rejection in summer and heat extraction in winter via its reversible heat-pump cycle. At 9000 BTU it is matched to smaller rooms of around 15 m² (roughly 600 BTU per m²), making it the right choice for bedrooms, studies and compact living rooms where a quiet, efficient single-zone system is wanted. R32 carries a lower global-warming potential than older R410A, and the inverter compressor can save 30-50% on energy versus a fixed-speed unit. Intelligent defrosting keeps it reliable through cold UK winters, and a 24-hour timer, memory and auto restart add convenience. This condenser weighs 31.5 kg. Scope note: this is the outdoor unit only, so a matching X Series indoor wall unit and pipe kit are required to complete the system. As a refrigerant split, installation and commissioning, including vacuum-pump evacuation of the copper pipe run, must be carried out by an F-Gas certified installer.
