This Costway 9000 BTU (2.6 kW) mini split air conditioner is an efficient, fixed wall-mounted split air conditioner that both cools and heats rooms up to 22 m², ideal for a bedroom, home office or small lounge. Its A++ energy rating (SEER 6.1 / SCOP 4.0) and inverter compressor keep running costs sensible: at around 1380 W in cooling it draws roughly 36p per hour at full tilt, but the inverter modulates output so real-world consumption is usually much lower once your set temperature is reached. As a reversible heat pump it also delivers 9000 BTU of heating, so it earns its keep year-round. Crucially, this is a true split system with separate indoor and outdoor units connected by a refrigerant pipe kit, not a portable, so it gives quiet, hose-free cooling. Indoor noise drops to as low as 22 dB on the quietest setting, genuinely quiet enough for a bedroom. Seven modes and eight fan speeds, a child lock, 24-hour timer, sleep mode and screen-off function round it out, with washable filters and a self-clean function for easy upkeep.
