These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with us. They don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer — they sit alongside them.

About us and these terms

AirconditionerUK is a trading name of Twin Peak Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16454777), with its registered office at Taymar, Shepherds Place, Kineton, Warwick, CV35 0NS. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Twin Peak Technologies Ltd trading as AirconditionerUK. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and Delivery & Returns policy. Nothing in these terms reduces your legal rights as a consumer.

How a contract is formed

When you place an order you are making an offer to buy. We'll send an order acknowledgement, but a binding contract is only formed when we send you a despatch confirmation. Occasionally we may be unable to accept an order — for example if an item is out of stock or there's a genuine pricing or description error — in which case we'll let you know and refund any payment in full.

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are buying as a consumer, for purposes outside any trade, business or profession.

Prices and VAT

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is free on in-stock items unless stated otherwise on the product page. We try hard to keep prices accurate, but if we spot a genuine error we'll contact you before despatch to confirm whether you'd like to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

Payment

Payment is taken securely through our payment processor at the time of order. We don't store your full card details. If a payment fails or is later reversed, we may cancel the affected order.

Delivery, risk and ownership

We deliver to UK addresses as set out in our Delivery & Returns policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once we've received payment in full and the goods have been delivered. Delivery estimates are given in good faith but are not guaranteed dates.

Cancelling your order and returns

As a consumer you have a 14-day statutory right to cancel for a change of mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, starting the day after you receive your order. We do not accept change-of-mind returns after this 14-day period. That time limit is separate from, and does not affect, your statutory rights if goods are faulty, damaged or not as described (see below). Faulty goods and your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. You have a 30-day right to reject faulty goods for a refund, and rights to repair or replacement after that. Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory rights.

Manufacturer warranties

Many products come with a manufacturer's warranty in addition to your statutory rights. Warranty length and terms are set by the manufacturer and are shown on the product page or in the product documentation. A warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your legal rights.

Using this website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. The content, design, text and images are owned by us or our suppliers and are protected by intellectual-property rights; you may not copy or reuse them commercially without permission. We work hard to keep product information accurate, but specifications and images are provided for guidance and may occasionally be updated by manufacturers.

Our liability to you

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — this includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any breach of your statutory rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or that arise from your own failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions or to use a product as intended.

Events outside our control

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example extreme weather, courier disruption, customs delays or supply shortages). If such an event happens, we'll let you know and do what we reasonably can to limit any delay.

Complaints and dispute resolution

If something has gone wrong, please contact us first at support@airconditioneruk.com with your order number — we take complaints seriously and will always try to put things right quickly. If we can't resolve it between us, as a UK consumer you may also be able to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme or refer the matter to Citizens Advice. Using these options does not affect your right to take court action.

General

  • We may update these terms from time to time; the version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
  • If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
  • These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Delivery & Returns policy, are the entire agreement between us for your order.
  • We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation; this will not affect your rights. You may only transfer your rights to someone else if we agree in writing.
  • A person who is not a party to these terms has no rights to enforce them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you have a concern, please contact us first at support@airconditioneruk.com — we'll always try to put things right.
