The EcoAir X Series 2420SD outdoor unit is the 24000 BTU condenser for EcoAir's flagship R32 WiFi inverter split air conditioner, delivering 6.16 kW of cooling and 6.45 kW of heating with a SEER of up to 6.1 and an A+++/A++ energy rating. As the outdoor half of a split air conditioner, this condenser sits outside and handles heat rejection in summer and heat extraction in winter through its reversible heat-pump cycle, sized for larger spaces of around 40 m² (roughly 600 BTU per m²). The X Series uses low-GWP R32 refrigerant for greener operation than older R410A, and its inverter compressor can save 30-50% on energy compared with a fixed-speed unit. Intelligent defrosting keeps it working reliably through cold UK winters, while ultra-quiet operation, a 24-hour timer, memory and auto restart add everyday convenience. This robust outdoor condenser weighs 50.5 kg. Honest scope note: this is the outdoor unit only, so a matching X Series indoor wall unit and pipe kit are needed to complete a working system. As a refrigerant split, installation and commissioning, including vacuum-pump evacuation of the line set, must be done by an F-Gas certified installer under UK rules.
