The EcoAir X Series 2420SD is the 24000 BTU indoor wall unit from EcoAir's flagship WiFi inverter split air conditioner range, and it leads on efficiency: low-GWP R32 refrigerant, a SEER of up to 6.1 and a top-tier A+++/A++ energy rating. As a split air conditioner indoor head, it cools (6.16 kW) and heats (6.45 kW) larger spaces of around 40 m² (roughly 600 BTU per m²), making it ideal for big living rooms, open-plan areas and larger offices. The X Series is built for quiet, hands-off comfort: ultra-quiet operation with a dedicated sleep mode, intelligent defrosting, a 24-hour timer, memory function and auto restart, all controllable by WiFi app or remote. The switch to R32 over older R410A means a lower global-warming potential and greener long-term operation, and the inverter compressor can save 30-50% on energy versus a non-inverter unit. The head weighs 16.5 kg. Be clear on scope: this is the indoor unit only, so a matching X Series outdoor condenser and line set are required to complete the system, and as a refrigerant split it must be installed and commissioned by an F-Gas certified installer under UK rules.
