The Costway 18-inch recessed electric fireplace is the lightest insert in the Costway range at just 4.5kg, making it the easiest to lift into a media-wall cavity single-handed while still putting out 5,100 BTU and heating spaces up to 37m². Switchable 750W and 1500W settings keep running costs predictable: full 1500W is about 39p an hour at roughly 26p/kWh, while the 750W mode roughly halves that to around 20p — handy for taking the chill off a room without warming the whole house. It carries broad certification (UKCA-EMC/LVD and BS 1363-1) plus overheat protection and a child lock, so it's well suited to family rooms and safe with the 1-8 hour timer for overnight use. The display offers 7 flame colours with 5 brightness and speed levels, and the flame runs with or without heat for year-round effect. Operation is quiet, and the remote adjusts settings from up to 3m. Built from ABS and tempered glass at 48.5cm wide. Supplied with the insert, remote control and instruction manual.
