The Costway 8000 BTU portable air conditioner adds smart convenience to compact cooling, with WiFi control through the Smart Life app so you can adjust temperature, mode, fan and speed from your phone, or set it cooling before you walk in. It cools rooms around 16m², ideal for bedrooms, home offices and smaller living rooms, and its adjustable airflow direction spreads cool air widely. Three modes (cooling, dehumidifying and fan) keep it useful year-round, and the dehumidifier is a real highlight at 40 L/day, strong enough to make a dent in damp and humidity. Quiet too: at 52 dB it's among the calmer portables, comfortable for bedroom use, helped by a low-noise sleep mode. Rated at 900W, cooling costs roughly 23p an hour at 26p/kWh. As a single-hose monobloc it must be vented through a window with the supplied exhaust hose and window kit, so it isn't a hoseless unit; a drain hose is also included. A 24-hour timer lets you schedule auto-off to save energy. At 23kg it relocates between rooms.
