This Costway 12,000 BTU unit is a true four-season machine: cooling for heatwaves, a 9,660 BTU heater for cold snaps, 38.4 L/day dehumidification for damp spells and a plain fan mode in between. With 12,000 BTU of cooling it comfortably handles rooms of around 20-25 m² – a typical lounge, large bedroom or home office. Drawing 1,330W on cooling, it works out at roughly 35p per hour at 26p/kWh, so a long evening stays affordable. At ≤55 dB it is a little louder than a whisper-quiet bedroom unit, but easily quiet enough for daytime living rooms and offices. Being a single-hose monobloc, it does need venting: the exhaust hose pushes warm air out through the included window kit – no true ventless cooling exists, so we are upfront about that. Operate it via the touch panel or remote across a 16-32°C range with three fan speeds. The box includes the exhaust hose, hose connector, adapter, window kit, drain hose, remote and manual, so you can be running the same day. At 28.5 kg on universal wheels it rolls room to room with ease.

Description
This Costway 12,000 BTU portable air conditioner combines four modes: cooling, heating, dehumidifying and fan, so it's useful in every season. Cooling tackles hot days, fan mode freshens spring and autumn, dehumidifier mode suits humid weather, and heating warms cold winters.
The temperature adjusts from 16°C to 32°C with three fan speeds, and you can control it via the touch panel or remote. Universal wheels and a compact body make it easy to place even where space is limited, and it runs at a low ≤55 dB.

Yes. It is a single-hose monobloc unit, so the included exhaust hose and window kit must vent warm air outside through a window or opening. No portable air conditioner cools effectively without venting.
